Today's picture update comes from a beachside cottage. I'm staying here for a couple days :)
Notice that my new scar is actually longer than my old one. Not exactly what the doctor promised, but I guess it doesn't matter with scars as long as mine.
Hopefully I can keep it looking this nice, but last time my scar started splitting for no reason.

If you are comfortable and confident then no one should notice the scars, and if they do and ask then you just smile and say "I had surgery" and nothing more unless you want to. I am a red head with (of all things) sunburn scars on my upper arms. I used to be embarrassed by em but now they are just a part of me and I wear sleeveless shirts and swimsuits with confidence because the scars don't make me a person, and if they really bother someone then that person probably isn't someone I want around.
ReplyDeleteI've had plenty and that will heal up fine. near your knee may leave a little more obvious scarring but i'm with most of the replies. Scars on women can be sexy. It just depends how you wear them ;)
